more than fifty years, the legendary Celia Cruz delighted us
with her talent, happiness and unmistakable voice. Her musical
legacy along with her distinct voice travels daily throughout
all continents of the world through hundreds of recordings that
she popularized during her unprecedented career; furthermore her
rhythm is timeless.
The Queen of Salsa carried her title with class and distinction.
Her powerful voice and electrifying rhythm garnered more than
100 worldwide recognitions, multiple Platinum and Gold Records,
three GRAMMY® awards and four Latin GRAMMY® awards, a star on
Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, a recognition from the National
Endowment for the arts as well as a Doctorate in music from the
universities of Yale, University of Miami and Florida
International University. Her boundless enthusiasm, genuine
warmth, and deep-seated humanitarianism made Celia Cruz the
music industry’s most accomplished and revered performer, and
the world's most notable ambassador of Hispanic culture.

Celia Cruz All Stars was created with a group of young, talented
musicians that gathered together to pay a tribute to the hits
that the Guarachera de Cuba immortalized.
With her music, Celia Cruz not only transcended geographic
boundaries but also idiomatic barriers, and gave the world
hundreds of songs for living, remembering, and “guarachar.”
Celia Cruz All Stars brings back to life part of modern and
classic Queen of Salsa’s repertory. Songs like “La Negra Tiene
Tumbao”, “Quimbara”, “Usted Abusó”, “La Vida Es Un Carnaval”,
“Bemba Colora”, among others, are coming back to remember and
honor one of the most influential artists of all times. With
each show the Celia Cruz All Stars contributes to the “Celia
Cruz Foundation,” which grants musical scholarships to needy
children.
